FOR those who let their imagination run wild when Multimedia TV presenter Mz Gee announced she is gearing up to air a new TV programme dubbed G Spot, sorry to disappoint you but there is nothing raunchy about  it.

Instead, G Spot which starts showing on Joy Prime on Saturday, July 7 aims at tackling social issues. 

G Spot will also see Mz Gee host personalities on the show which airs on this and every Saturday at 6:30 pm.

Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, at  the launch of G Spot, Mz Gee real name Gloria Apkene Acquah said G Spot will tackle very serious issues that face the country. These issues will then be tackled by experts she will bring to do the job.

“The show will be in three segments. It begins with women airing their views on issues, then men respond to the concerns the women have raised. The third segment will decide who wins the debate at the end of the day” she said.

Touching on why the name G Spot, Mz Gee explains that she wanted to coin a catchy name for the show.

“The name alone is enough to attract people to find out what the show is about and I know Ghanaians will love it when it starts airing” she said.

MzGee started her journey in broadcast as a producer for Campus on Hitz  FM, in April 2014 and later became the substantive host of the show in August of that year.

By February 2015, she handled Hitz FM’s flagship show, Daybreak Hitz and was then put on the entertainment desk as a reporter in May that same year.

Through hard work, she was made the entertainment news presenter on the prime time news with Isreal Laryea.

Additionally, she was given another slot to host a four-hour Saturday morning show, Showbiz This Week in June 2015.

Mz Gee has also covered high profile programmes across the continent including African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) which was held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2016.

The launch of G Spot was graced by musicians MzVee, Ben Brako, Kwame Zaggy, Kuami Eugene, Willi and Mike, Kidi, AJ Poundz, actress Victoria Lebene and some officials of Joy Prime.
