Chief Executive Ofiicer of division one league club Phar Rangers, Nana Yaw Amponsah has called for an integrity check to be conducted on all Ghana Football Association Presidential hopefuls.

His call comes in the wake of delegates unanimously endorsing the new statutes that was proposed the the Normalization Committee with approval from FIFA yesterday.

Nana Yaw Amponsah has made his intentions clear about contesting the coveted GFA presidency stating that an integrity check will be able to sift through the numerous candidates who have intentions of picking nomination forms when the elections open.

Speaking in an interview in Accra on the sidelines of the GFA extra-ordinary congress,he stated that the new reforms is something that should have been than long ago in other to have averted the current plight of our football.

"Now we need leaders who can take our football to another level and that is the most significant thing left after accepting the statutes, which is the legal framework.

"This is where I call and suggest we call all aspirants to the test of competence, ideas and integrity test.

"This would ensure that whoever is given the nod to lead Ghana football really deserve and would do a great job" he concluded.

"It a historic day for Ghana football, because the football people had to deliberate a lot and decide on what is good for Ghana football.

"We had to break our divergent interest to get us this far and we have to thank God for that but there is more to be done," he added.
