French side Fc Nantes are poised to rescue Ghana's Abdul Majeed Waris from the hell he currently finds himself in Porto.

The striker who joined the Portuguese giants in September last  year penned a four year contract but is yet to kick a ball for Porto this season.

Waris has been languishing in the reserves playing with the FC Porto B instead of the mains squad.

Fc Nantes may soon rescue him from the abyss he currently find himself If all goes according to plan.

The 28 year old Ghanaian spent the entirety of last season with French side Nantes where he score five goals in 33 appearances.

Nantes wanted to make the deal permanent but were priced out of a deal by Fc Porto's exorbitant asking price.

The canaries are in need of firepower upfront as they have scored a paltry 14 goals all season in the French league although they lie a respectable fifth on the league log.
