Former Ghana U20 star, Nathaniel Adjei, continued to impress as FC Lorient bounced back from their previous defeat to FC Nantes, clinching a 2-1 victory against Stade Rennais at the Roazhon Park.

Adjei, on loan from Swedish giants Hammarby, showcased his talents with a full-throttle performance, contributing to Lorient's crucial win on the road.

The match saw Ivorian forward Mohamed Bamba open the scoring for Lorient, followed by a late goal from second-half substitute El Junior Kroupi in the 90th minute.

Although Rennais managed to pull one back through Amine Gouiri in injury time, it wasn't enough to deny Lorient the victory.

Adjei has been a consistent performer for Lorient since joining the team during the winter transfer window, earning a starting spot in the lineup.

Under his influence, Lorient has emerged victorious in four out of their last five matches, establishing themselves as the most in-form team in France.

Following Sunday's triumph, Lorient has climbed to 13th place on the Ligue 1 table, gradually distancing themselves from the relegation zone.

With Adjei's loan deal set to expire at the end of the season, FC Lorient has the option to make his stay permanent, a testament to the impact he has made since his arrival.
