Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Ghana's Majority Leader, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership of orchestrating violent incidents across the country.

He claims the NDC is funding and facilitating these acts by providing resources like fuel and vehicles to their supporters.

Afenyo-Markin demanded concrete action from the NDC, beyond just issuing statements, to stop the violence.

His allegations come amidst rising tensions ahead of Ghana's 2024 general elections, with political violence becoming a growing concern.

The Majority Leader warned the opposition to commit to peace, rather than inciting chaos, and reiterated the NPP's dedication to ensuring peaceful elections and protecting Ghana's democracy.
