The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to hit Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi on Saturday, April 28 for its Unity Walk.

The health walk which has been dubbed, The Unity Walk aims to unite the party and rally every member around the umbrella flag.

Th NDC has already gone of several of these walks in some major cities including Takoradi, Somanya, Tarkwa, Tamale, Techiman and, most recently, Wa.

The walk has also seen some stalwarts of the leading opposition party mount the stage to speak about happenings in the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Former leader of the party John Dramani Mahama has been a regular conspicuous speaker at the various walks.

Kumasi’s edition will be themed: ‘Mobilisation of the Grassroots: A Shared Responsibility’.

A statement signed by the Regional chairman Yaw Owusu Obimpeh, it said, ‘The entire membership of the party would walk and converge at the Dogomoro Park for a mammoth rally’.

NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS ASHANTI REGIONAL CHAPTER PRESS RELEASE UNITY WALK

The Ashanti regional chapter of the NDC brings to the attention of its members and the general public that the party would embark on a UNITY WALK on the 28th of April 2018.

The walk would start at 6am at the Aboabo Post Office.

The entire membership of the party would walk and converge at the Dogomoro Park for a mammoth rally.

Former President John Dramani Mahama together with other prominent dignitaries of the party will be part of the walk.

We also use this medium to invite the many aggrieved Ghanaians who are patiently waiting for 2020 to correct their December 2016 mistake to join us prepare physically for this all important correction in 2020.
