Almost a month after the release of its third Android 7.0 preview, Samsung rolled out its fourth beta a few days before Christmas. Now, one week later, Samsung has made another new Nougat preview available.

As with its other preview releases, the latest beta is exclusive to the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge flagships, for those enrolled in the Galaxy Beta Program. As SamMobile reports, the new beta is now available in the United Kingdom and South Korea, but it shouldn't be too long before it shows up elsewhere, such as in the United States.

The new preview focuses primarily on bug fixes and stability improvements, including a fix for a particularly annoying issue that caused the handsets to reboot intermittently. There's not much in the way of new features, although there is one noticeable tweak: notifications shown on the lockscreen now include transparency.

As you would expect, Samsung has also been testing Android 7.0 on various other devices in its range - including the Galaxy Note 5, S6, S6 edge and Tab S2 - but it has not yet made those internal Nougat builds publicly available on the Galaxy Beta Program.
