New Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has jetted of with his team to Dublin for their first two pre-season matches against Irish sides Bohemians and St Patrick's The Belgian ace has spent the last two seasons away on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace - where he enjoyed a late season surge in 2018-19.
Chelsea shared pictures of the trip on their twitter page with many fans commenting on forgotten man Batshuayi. The blues play Bohemians on 10th July before facing St Patrick's in three days time with trips to Japan, to face Kawasaki Frontale, Barcelona all planned.
Club legend Lampard will take charge of his first game since taking over from Maurizio Sarri at the Aviva stadium.
Lampard could be seeing wheeling his luggage onto the plane while beaming with smiles his squad which included forgotten star Batshuayi, as well as Pedro and Willy Caballero.
