Newly elected Ghana Football Association President Mr. Kurt ES Okraku together with his executive council held their first meeting with FIFA's representative on Saturday afternoon in Accra.

The meeting was to introduce the newly elected Ghana football leadership to the World governing body of the game after a successful elective congress on Friday.

The new GFA boss and the newly constituted executive council were presented with a FIFA branded shirt at the end of the meeting.

FIFA representative Luca Nicole was present at the congress to monitor proceedings when Dreams FC chief Kurt Okraku was declared and sworn in as the new GFA boss following a three-round poll.

The highly respected football administrator beat close contender George Afriyie to the seat and will now be the successor to embattled former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Ghana football has been without substantive leadership since July 2018.
