The Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Kwame Awuah Darko, has asked the staff of the company to get ready to welcome a new boss as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) takes over the reign of the country in 2017.

He made this request when he addressed the staff of the company at their end of year thanksgiving service in Tema in the Greater Accra region.

He therefore called on the staff of TOR to corporate with whoever is appointed as their new boss.

“I’m sure this will be the last time I address you at Christmas as your Managing Director. Change has come… we must all support that change and work accordingly”.

“I don’t know how long it’s going to be, but you’ll have the pleasure of being introduced to a new leader.  I beg you, I pray, I urge you to give that person all the support and commitment above what you have given me”.

He exits TOR at a time where the refinery will soon increase its daily production by 20,000 barrels.

This is also a time when the refinery is preparing to refine crude from the Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme (TEN) oil field this week.
