Neymar Jr. was again the key man for Brazil as they handed WC qualifier group fierce rivals Argentina a 3-0 defeat.

Neymar assisted team mate Philippe Coutinho for the opening goal on the 25th minute in the first half. Neymar himself scored the second in first half added time to all but kill the game. Paulinho added the killer blow on the 58th minute to ensure what was a very convincing win.

Neymar’s goal however was a landmark goal as it now means the skillful forward has now scored 50 goals for Brazil’s senior nation team. The landmark figure places Neymar on 4th on the list of all time goal scorers for Brazil.

Pele is on number one with 77 goals, followed by Ronaldo on 62, Romario is on 55 goals and Neymar on 50 goals in 74 games with 30 assists, Zico completes the top 5 with 48 goals.

The 24 year old forward has time on his hands and if he keeps scoring at this rate it’s only a matter of time until he dethrones the legendary Pele.
