Ghanaian Dancehall star Shatta Wale held a successful Thanksgiving concert at Mantse Agbonaa in Accra last Friday.
As it is he case with his concerts, many of his Shatta Movement fan base thronged the venue to share in the fun.
And even Shatta Wale had his father, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, otherwise known as Shatta Capo, mounting the stage at some point in the programme which was hosted by Afia Schwarzenegger.
One of the things that have come up for discussion from the concert was Shatta Wale's rather exceptional dressing when he stepped onto the stage.
Wearing a white big hoodie/jacket, over a white t-shirt and hanging white trousers, the controversial musician decided to wear a red sneaker with a yellow pair of socks. And he matched his look with a red headgear.
Not long after the photos of his outfit hit social media, people began to troll him with some even comparing him to a white cockerel by making a photo grid of him and a cockerel.
Well, the comparison has travelled as far as Nigeria where a social media influencer called Tunde Ednut also shared the photo on his Instagram page with the caption "Why are u people like this? A whole Shatta Wale."
Tunde's post has received a lot of reactions from a section of Nigerians who have mocked Shatta Wale for what they deem as a poor sense of fashion.
@moyosore_rise asked why Shatta dress up like a chicken: "Why he dress up like chicken too"
@happyboi2010 simply renamed Shatta Wale as: "Shatta Chicken"
For @nittynitng, the cockerel even looked finer than Shatta: "The cockk is looking cuter tho"
@iejiro wondered where Shatta got the inspiration for his dressing: "But where did he get this inspiration from?pple kann kill someone career "
@eejay__gavazaga wanted the chicken to be given a chain like that of Shatta: "Dem for help us give d chicken chain now Mak d pic swag up well "
This is the second time withing 2018 that Shatta Wale has been mocked seriously on social media for wearing an unusual outfit.
It will be recalled that the Dance hall star was trolled for his 'Tiger Head' battery appearance at the Manhyia Palace when he and other Zylofon stars visited the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II for his Akwasidae celebrations in April.
Meanwhile, a Ghanaian media practitioner, Sammy Kumah, was hospitalised on the night Friday, December 28, after a number of policemen reportedly assaulted him at Stonebwoy's concert.
Sammy Kumah, popularly known as Sammy Kay, who works at Despite Group's Peace and Okay FMs operates the blog sammykaymedia.com.
While doing his work at the concert, he decided to take a video of Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, who was at the concert.
But according to Sammy Kay, a policeman named Williams O. Boateng slapped him for taking a video of Baby Jet.
When he replied the policeman's slap after he was hit again, three other policemen joined their colleague to beat him up.
Sammy Kay's reported assault from the policemen was not the only incidence of violence at the concert as singer Sista Afia was pelted by some Stonebwoy fans while performing on stage.
This follows her decision to perform her 'Jeje' hit track which features Stonebwoy's bitterest rival, Shatta Wale.
But all-in-all, the Bhim Concert which saw wealthy young man mount stage to gift Stonebwoy a whopping $50,000 was a very successful event.
