Ghanaian musician turned politician, Kwame A-Plus, known in real life as Kwame Asare Obeng, has jabbed President Nana Akufo-Addo.

On his Instagram page, the controversial political commentator posted a snapshot of a Myjoyonline.com news item dated December 20, 2016 with caption "A-Plus was a brick in my campaign - Akufo-Addo".

Under the post, Kwame A-Plus wrote "Now they have power so I'm not even 2 by 4 wawa board...They get angry hearing the same things I was saying and doing which made me a brick. Politicians!!! Tweaaaa!!!!".

Before the 2016 General Elections, Kwame A-Plus was one of those who got social media buzzing with political commentaries that deemed the then John Mahama government incompetent.

Before the 2016 General Elections, Kwame A-Plus took to Facebook to write posts diminishing the achievements of John Mahama and elevating then presidential candidiate, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo as one who could turn the fortunes of Ghana around.

The Facebook posts of Kwame A-Plus at the time had a lot of influence because top radio stations were sometimes heard discussing his write ups.

Kwame A-Plus at the time also revealed his political identity as an NPP member and said that he was eyeing a party position in his constituency.

After the 2016 General Elections when Nana Akufo-Addo emerged winner, he did not mince words as he publicly applauded the musician for his Facebook posts which were in his favour.

It was during the time that Myjoyonline.com published the story that Kwame A-Plus posted on his Instagram page.

Few months in power, President Nana Akufo-Addo appointed Kwame A-Plus as Secretary to the CEO of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Aside that, Kwame A-Plus was offered a contract to transport and distribute fuel to some fuel stations in the country.

Not long after the controversial political commentator was rewarded for his Facebook posts that seemed like a campaign and believed to have influence some Ghanaians to vote for the ruling NPP, he was relieved off his post and the contract was abrogated.

This was because Kwame A-Plus made some corruption allegations against the two deputy Chiefs of Staff; Kwame Asenso and Abu Jinapor.

The allegation brought a lot of pressure on the seat of government at the time since many accused the government of corruption.

The two deputy Chiefs of Staff denied the allegations citing that Kwame A-Plus was making mere allegation.

After the deputies denied the allegation, Kwame A-Plus was suspended from his post as Secretary to the CEO of Korle-Bu and his contract with Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited got canceled.

Since then, Kwame A-Plus has been posting write ups that depict his bad relationship between Akufo-Addo, the NPP and himself.

It is out of such 'bad relationship' posts that Kwame A-Plus posted the Myjoyonline.com story on his Instagram page to depict that the ruling government and president used to like his rant but now disregard him.
