President John Mahama says the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not have the credibility to talk about creating jobs for unemployed youth in Ghana.

He says the party failed under Ex-President John Kufuor to create jobs for over a million youth who were registered as unemployed.

According to him, Ghanaian youth must not be carried away by NPP’s campaign promises this year, including the one-district-one-factory promise which "cannot materialize."

President Mahama made these comments at a rally at Kakasunanka in the Kpone-Katamanso constituency of the Greater Accra.

On his part, the Member of Parliament for Kpone-Katamanso, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo blamed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP for the economic woes of Ghana.

Meanwhile, Gbetsile Mantse, Nii Teye Kojo I is asking for assistance from President John Mahama to deal with land guards in the area.
