The New Patriotic party (NPP) office at Alajo, representing the electorates of the party in the Ayawaso Central saw a massive crowd on Friday March 23 as aspirants rush in to submit their application forms.

The deadline for the submission was scheduled for march 25.

The Posts to be contested for includes the Regional Youth Organiser, Treasurer, Nassara Coordinator Women's Organizer Regional Secretary and the Assistant Regional Secretary.

The aspirants whose number tallies up to 40 have three (3) vying for the Regional Secretary position and eight(8) for Assistant Regional Secretary position respectively. The rest are Youth Organiser, four(4) ,Treasurer six(6),Women’s Organizer six(6) and Nassara Coordinator four(4).

Among the aspirants is the Head of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Moses Abor, and he was in the company of a huge crowd as he proceeded to the office.

Speaking to the Press, he said, “I have come far in this party and played active roles in mobilizing the youth in the region for three elections; I know I am eligible for the job and this explains why I am presenting myself to be voted for this position”.

He is contesting for the position of the Greater Accra Regional Youth Orgsniser adding that he began politics as far back as 2004 in the Kokomlemle East where he is currently an Assembly member and added that, given his Nickname "Action Man" he has taken it upon himself to champion the youth in the region to vote massively for the NPP administration in the 2020 general elections as well as help to maintain more seats on behalf of the party for the region.
