7th January 2026
NPP Flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong lost his cool once again, this time during his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.
A viral video on social media, showed an angry Kennedy Agyapong launching fiery attacks on persons he said had been intimidating him and his supporters.
Kennedy also described NPP faithful in the Ashanti Region as cowards for losing thousands of votes and Parliamentary seats to the NPP.
What triggered the furious response from Kennedy Agyapong is not clearly established in the video, but from Kennedy Agyapong's own comments, he was responding to persons who did not support his flagbearership bid and had allegedly intimidated others for supporting him.
"It is not what you want that someone wants," Kennedy Agyapong said.
"I saw the argument there. Have patience when your man comes, support him."
He continued by strongly warning that nobody can intimidate him.
"I want to assure you, nobody can intimidate anybody here. It won't work. I am telling you it won't work. Nobody can intimidate me here."
"You're not in government. You have no gun and you have no sword. We will face you. We are going to face them. What kind of intimidation is this? You say you like someone and if someone also supports another person you say it is wrong."
"There are men here I want to tell you. We are not afraid of anyone. When we keep quiet it doesn't mean we are afraid."
To the regional party in the region, he labeled them cowards, claiming they sat in Kumasi and allowed the NDC to win.
"One party you sit here and claim you're men but you run away when NDC guys are coming. You sit here in Kumasi and allow us to lose 400,000 votes."
"They have taken our seats. Where was your strength? Where was your strength? Please we are tired! We are not afraid of anybody . You just wait!"
