General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), John Boadu, has disclosed that he has not received any court injunction which is likely to forestall any of the regional delegates election which is taking place across the country on Friday, 27th and Saturday, 28th of May, 2022.

Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he noted that the elections across the country will come off as planned as everything has been put in place to ensure that they have a successful delegates conference.

"Though I admit that some regions will be faced with some few challenges, we have put everything in place to ensure that the elections go on smoothly as possible."

"We had other elections preceding this one and it has been successful and so we trust that this will be a violent free one. We have national officials across the regions to report and address any challenge they may encounter during the elections," he added.

He added that the party is committed to ensuring that they have one of the safest elections, so adequate police personnel have been deployed across the regions to ensure that the regional delegates conferences do not record any violence.

"The party will however address challenges that may arise during the elections," he added.
