The National Sports Authority (NSA) who are the custodians of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium have released a statement condemning the shooting incident that occurred during the Ghana Premier League match day 3 encounter.

A sporadic warning shot by the police found its way into the face of a  Kotoko supporter who was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The NSA reminded fans of the club of their responsibilities and conduct during match days at the Sports Stadium.

They have however urged the Ashanti Regional Police Command to speed up their investigations into the matter and have vowed to apply the appropriate sanctions to anyone found culpable.
