The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has argued that the latest investigation conducted by the Tiger Eye PI team, Number 12, could easily serve as a recipe for a coup d'etat in Ghana.

The veteran politician, better known as General Mosquito, added that the details of the recent investigative work by the Anas Aremeyaw Anas-led Tiger Eye PI, proved that there was a serious reason for Ghanaians to be worried.

Speaking on Okay FM, he stated that here is the need for the political parties in Ghana to rise and purge themselves else members of the public will see them as corrupt and evil.

"Look, these are what brings about coup d'etats and as a country we should be worried and find a solution to these issues raised," he said.

He went on to say that he was shocked to the bone with respect to some things he heard from Kwesi Nyantakyi, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

In some portions of the video, Nyantakyi was allegedly heard plotting a strategy to enrich himself.

He is reported to have added that after their agenda goes according to plan, he and his 'investor' friends could ‘take over’ Ghana with their money.

Number 12 was premiered on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
