Outspoken Tema-based rapper, Yaa Pono has stated that contrary to widely circulated rumor, his hit song, 'Obiaa Wo Ne Master' which features Stonebwoy was not a subliminal shot to controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
Addressing the issue, the Uptown Energy Boss indicated that he had penned the song long the rivalry between him and the 'Freedom' hitmaker happened adding that Stonebwoy recently added his verse to the song without any intention to diss anyone.
Yaa Pono who recently married his long time girlfriend and baby mama added that the assertion that the song is a diss song directed at Shatta Wale does not hold.
“I wrote it [the song] way back; it’s not a diss song to anyone,” he insisted.
The Tema-based artiste who released his latest album, “Faster than Gods”, has been billed to perform alongside Stonebwoy, KiDi, Fancy Gadam, Patapaa as Ghana battles with Wizkid and Mr. Eazi at the 2018 Ghana Meets Naija concert.
