Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah has completed a transfer deal to Saudi Pro League side Al Batin FC in the current summer tranfer window.

The 29 year old central midfielder passed his medical examination on Tuesday and agreed personal terms with the club.

Acquah has signed a two year deal with an option to extend the deal upon satisfactory performance after departing Turkish Superlig side Yeni Malatyaspor.

His contract with the Turkish side expired on June 30,2021 and has since become a free agent.

He made 35 appearances for Yeni Malatyaspor across all competitions last season and scored three goals in the process.

The combative midfielder has in the past played for TSG Hoffenheim,Parma Calcio, US Palermo, FC Empoli, UC Sampdoria, Parma Primavera and Palermo Primavera.
