Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei has signed a contract with Bulgarian side FC Slavia-Mozyr on a free transfer from South African side Kaizer Chiefs.

The 26 year old reject several overtures from the African continent before joining the Belarusian side.

Kotei has put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Belarusian after agreeing terms with the club on Thursday.
Kotei spent just six months at Kaizer Chiefs after signing form Tanzanian side Simba SC at the start of the season.

He departed  the South African team without making his competitive debut as coach Ernst Middendorp preferred Willard Katsande, Kearyn Baccus and George Maluleka ahead of him.

The lanky Ghanaian was  sacrificed to open up a limited foreign space for Kenyan Anthony Akumu, who had left ZESCO United at the end of December and was available om a free transfer.
