Ghanaian youngster Kamal Sowah has officially departed Leicester City for Belgium side Club Brugge.

The two clubs have reached a deal worth around €9million with add-ons  for the talented winger who spent last year in Belgium and impressed.

He will wear jersey number 19 for his new club in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

Sowah spent the last three-and-a-half years on loan in Belgium with OH Leuven, making 61 appearances for the club and scoring 11 goals.

It was during his time in Belgium that Sowah is said to have caught the eye of Club Brugge.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was heavily involved in pre-season for Leicester City.

Sowah joined the club from Ghanaian academy Right To Dream in 2018 after catching the eye when they visited City's training ground for a friendly.

He was immediately sent on loan to OH Leuven to increase the likelihood of him becoming eligible for a work permit.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers did not include the budding talent in the matchday squad for either the Community Shield or the opening Premier League game of the season against Wolves.
