Kumasi Asante Kotoko keep on adding on players despite a few players leaving the team with the latest addition being Dickon Afoakwa.

The 23 year forward has signed a three year contract with the porcupine warriors with an option for a further year after agreeing personal terms with the club.

Afoakwa is a free agent as he has been without a team for the past two years after returning from a foreign sojourn but has been training with the Kotoko side having impressed the technical handlers.

He last played for South African side Stellenbosch FC in the PSL where he made just five appearances before his contract was ripped apart.

The tricky Ghanaian forward started his foreign sojourn in 2016 where he joined Belarusian side Dinamo Brest but was on the periphery before securing a loan move to  FC Gomel but also struggled there before his contract was terminated by Brest after two seasons.

He has in the past also played for Slovenia to join NK Triglav Kranj signing a six month deal but was terminated before it finished.

The reds have already signed Richmond Lamptey from Inter Allies , defender Maxwell Agyemang from Wamanafo Mighty Royals, Richard Boadu, Samuel Appiah from Medeama and a bunch of youthful players.
