Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi has completes his move to German side Hannover 96.

On Thursday evening ghanaguardian.com exclusively reported that the player had successfully passed his medical examination and was set to sign on the dotted lines.

The striker has penned a three year contract after joining from Deportivo Alaves.

Hannover 96 have this afternoon confirmed the signing of the Ghanaian forward on a three year deal.

“The next signing is perfect: The Ghanaian Patrick Twumasi is moving from the Spanish LaLiga club Deportivo Alaves to Hannover 96. The 26-year-old attacking player signed a contract until 2023 today”, the statement has said.

The Ghanaian was contracted to Deportivo Alaves till June 2022 after joining from Kazakhstan side FC Astana but  failed to show the form that convinced the Spanish side to go for him.

Twumasi spent last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Gaziantep and there was a lot of interest from teams in Turkey with Hatayaspor and Denizlispor all set to be interested.

Whiles on loan in Turkey he scored six goals while providing five assists in 26 league games.

He has been capped twice by the Black Stars and is yet to score a goal.
