Ghanaian midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has finally completed his long awaited move to Russian side Tambov FC.

The experienced midfielder has signed a one year contract with his new club with an option for a further year after passing his mandatory medical examinations.

He left FC Tambov after just a year with the lower tier French club and has now sealed a move back to his old stomping grounds

Rabiu is no stranger to playing in Russia as he has in the past played for Kuban Krasnodar, Anzhi Makhachkala and Krylia Sovetov.

Last season the lanky midfielder made 14 appearances for Paris FC scoring once during his stay with them before the season was truncated by the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Under-20 World Cup winner  has been capped 31 times by Ghana.
