Award winning gospel artist, Joe Mettle, has added his voice to the group Ghanaians who believe that fellow artiste, Patapaa's surprise hit song, One Corner, is evil and backed by some sort of evil spirit.

At the height of its popularity in 2017, Papata's One Corner hit song attracted great criticism from Ghana's gospel and religious society, with many saying that the song has evil spiritual powers.

Speaking to Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z, Joe Mettle, who won the VGMA's artist of the year award in 2017, referred to the One Corner song as "strange".

“Actions bring out the effects of the spirit controlling….It is weird. It is proper weird. [When the song is played] I am like where is everybody going or what is everybody doing?” He said.

The "Bo Noo Ni" hitmaker went on to say that, according to him, Patapa's One Corner hit song "does not have a good spirit".

Since the song's release, Patapa's One Corner song has since made waves in Nigeria, The United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
