OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone brand that builds its own OxygenOS UI over Android, has often asked for user feedback on hardware and software fronts, and have implemented the best possible version of it. Now, it’s directly reaching out to users to hunt for new features that they want to see in future. OnePlus will be taking ideas via the Product Manager Challenge.
As a part of the challenge, users can submit the product pitch process and answer a few questions to justify why OnePlus should consider implementing their suggested features. Interested users would need to answer four questions:
Q1. Who are the users?
Q2. What is the proposed function?
Q3. What is the user value?
Q4. If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?

OnePlus says that users would need to explain the logic behind the suggested feature and show directions and details via sketches. The challenge will run through February 22 and the winners will be announced by next month. As a result, their design will be implemented. It is not for sure if this feature is meant for the upcoming OnePlus smartphone or probably the one launching later this year. More details can be seen in OnePlus forum posts.

While OnePlus gets ready for the upcoming challenge it has a couple of existing smartphone issues to tackle. Earlier last month some users were reported to be facing issues with battery issues in OnePlus 6T. Few days ago a different lot of users were reportedly facing bad audio bug in both OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6. It has been mentioned that users are facing poor quality poor audio quality during calls or voice recordings in third-party apps.

The report by Android Police added that the phone used the microphone on the top of the smartphone which is meant for noise cancelling. Some OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 3 users were also said to be facing the same issue.
