Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari made an injury return for his Serbian side Red Star Belgrade on Thursday evening in the UEFA Europa League match against Ferencvaros.

The Serbian giants were beaten 2-1 in the away fixture as the Ghanaian winger made a substitute appearance.

He picked up an injury in training and missed out in the reverse fixture against the Hungarian side but was fit enough as he was introduced into the game in the 61st minute for Alexander Katai.

Bukari was also left out of his team's last league match against Spartal Subotika over the weekend.

Despite his introduction, Red Star Belgrade suffered a 2-1 loss with goals from Christopher Zachariassen and Samy Mmaaee for the Hungarians as  Stefan Mitrovic grabbed a consolation goal for the Serbians.

The Ghanaian winger has seven goals and three assists for his side across all competitions this season.
