A member of the Ghana Football Association's Executive Council, Dr Tony Aubynn says that the right man to fill the vacant Black Stars coaching job is Otto Addo.

The German born Ghanaian midfielder was assistant coach to sacked Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac but after his tenure came to an end the Dortmund Assistant coach is been touted as his replacement.

Reports are that a three man delegation that includes Kurt Okraku, Technical Director Bernard Liepert and another are currently in Germany trying to convince Otto Addo to leave his role at Dortmund for Ghana's poisoned chalice of a job.

Government of Ghana is also in favour of former Norwich, Newcastle coach Chris Hughton who is already in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Angel FM, Dr. Tony Aubynn has stated the Dortmund trainer is the best choice to succeed the Serbian trainer since he believe the players knows him and offers him so much respect.

“Otto Addo is the best choice now because he was the assistant for Milo and he has trained with the boys and they respect him so much."

“He’s the right man for the job now, considering the fact that he’s also a former player.”

Ghana will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the playoff round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March.
