The second session of the 8th Parliament of Ghana is expected to resume later today, Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Some 69 bills including the Affirmative Action, Rent and Intestate Succession bills are expected to be presented to the House.

Already 10 bills including the Exemptions Bill 2022, Ghana Hydrological Authority Bill 2022, and Ghana Standards Authority Bill 2022 which are currently at the committee level will also be brought before the plenary for debate and passage.

A statement signed and issued by the Public Affairs Directorate of Parliament said “during the meeting, Instruments, Papers, Motions and referrals to committees will be presented to the House for debate and approval. The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament has already admitted questions and petition to be brought before the House.”
