'One Corner’' hitmaker, Patapaa has responded to Kuame Eugene’s recent apology after insulting him (Patapaa) on national TV with a strong warning.

Kuami Eugene during an interview on GH One TV's Rythmz Live revealed that Patapaa had reached out to him for a collaboration but he had declined because he does not like Patapaa's style of music.

“He wants me for a feature and I said no because I’m not ready…Patapaa’s kind of songs is not me. He is making too much noise,” he stated in response to a question from the show host.

His comment led to a lot of bashing from social media users who deemed it as insulting to Patpaaa.

But in sharp u-turn not long after the video of his TV interview went viral, Kuami Eugene rendered an unqualified apology for what has turned out to become a controversial comment.

In a video he posted on Twitter, Kuami Eugene explained that his comments were borne out of his friend with Patapaa which sees him tease the 'One Corner' hitmaker.

Patapaa on the other has stated that he has accepted Kuame Eugene’s apology but advised him to respect him going forward.

“APOLOGY ACCEPTED but next time put some “respek” on my name. One Love,One Ghana,” Patapaa stated on Facebook.

While Kuami Eugene, born Eugene Marfo, has been the poster boy for Ghanaian Highlife since he burst onto the scene last year with his mega hit, 'Angela', Patapaa has been everything unconventional in the Ghanaian music industry.

His 'One Corner' song, though considered as poorly produced, went international and he has been riding on that since 2017.

Patapaa is currently one of the most popular music artistes in Ghana.
