Barely after the ink dries on the mammoth $300,000 sponsorship package from Goldfields Tarkwa Damang, the mauves and yellows have swooped in for former Kotoko defender Patrick Yeboah.

The left back mutually terminated his contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko this week and has swiftly joined the Tarkwa based side.

According to kickgh.com, the 26 year old left full back has penned a three year contract with Medeama SC.

Yeboah only joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko last year from Karela United on a three year deal but was barely used by the club in the truncated 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season making only six appearances for the club.

With the emergence of Ibrahim Imoro, Yeboah was relegated to the fringes of the first team for most of the time.

But Kotoko have also augmented that department with the acquisition of former Atlanta defender Patrick Asmah.
