Kelvin Taylor, an NPP, released a telephone conversation amongst Philip Ayensu, Gabby Otchere-Darko and Edward Akufo Addo (President Akufo-Addo’s only brother) Since the conversation was on audio, many people didn’t pay attention to it and it seems to be a dying story. I have taken my time to break it down here, to confirm how organized these criminals in this government are.

Gabby: So you can’t go below 40?
Ayensu: No Sir.........
Gabby: That’s all?
Ayensu: Gabby, you see, you know we’ve come far ooooo........
Gabby: I am just trying to........
Ayensu: No, I can’t go below the 40.....
Ayensu: I would rather prefer getting off and getting something out of it and getting off.........
Gabby: Ok so? I see............
Ayensu: This is to demonstrate that this is for me and not for anybody, and and that is something I want to come very strong on on ..........
Gabby: So you can’t go below the 40?
Ayensu: No Sir........
Edward: If that’s your final position then we have to let the others know, sign all the documents..........
Ayensu: Ok Sir. I appreciate you sir. Thank you very much.
Edward: Ok. Alright.
Ayensu: Thank you!

Gabby was on Paul Adom-Otchere’s show and boasting that he doesn’t get himself involved in government contracts. Tell me if he was not deeply involved in this PDS scandal. Edward Akufo-Addo was also deep in the PDS scandal. He is the only brother of Nana Akufo-Addo. I need someone to convince me that Nana Akufo-Addo didn’t know how deep his only brother was involved in the PDS scandal. If he knew it, why can’t Ghanaians attach the name of Nana Addo in this PDS scandal? If he didn’t know it, then he is not fit to be the next Commander-in-Chief. Simple.

Due to the fraudulent manner this PDS deal was handled, Ghana lost $190 million and nobody, including the corrupt President, has been held responsible. The Herald Newspaper, Kelvin Taylor, Hon John Jinapor, Hon Isaac Adongo and others, have provided enough evidence that there was an organized crime, which included the President, but still all those involved are still walking on the streets of Accra. None of them has even been charged but if you go to court tomorrow, you will see how a policeman is seriously arguing why someone who stole GHC100.00 should be put to jail and truly that person will go to jail.

Ladies and gentlemen, what is keeping the President, the Attorney General and the Special Prosecutor from telling us what has become of the PDS scandal? Is it because one of them or the brother of one of them is involved so the case has become foolish? Are we not angry enough because the country lost $190 million due to a family’s own interest? Ghana has suddenly become a country of cowards and without lawyers because Nana Addo is the President. It is very unfortunate and sad. I am losing hope.
