A loyalist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Coffie, is asking if John Dramani Mahama, the former President, is giving out cash to Sammy Gyamfi and Joshua Akamba to bribe delegates ahead of the party's National Delegates Conference on Saturday.

His question comes after two UMB cheques bearing the name of the former President leaked on social media.

Per the cheques, Mr Mahama had issued GH₵250,000.00 to Joshua Akamba and GH₵150,000.00 to Sammy Gyamfi, all dated November 15, 2018 (Thursday).

Dela Coffie however believes the steps taken by the former President, if true, was "so wrong in so many levels, and very bad for intra-party politics."

Below is what he posted on his Facebook timeline:

Samuel Gyamfi and Joshua Akamba Hamidu are both contesting for the positions of National Communication Officer and National Organizer respectively.

Meanwhile a total of 65 aspirants are contesting for various national positions at the 9th delegate’s congress to be held at the Trade Fair Center, Accra on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
