Piers Morgan has asked Prince Harry to decide whether he wants to be a senior Royal or a 'gas-guzzling celebrity' following his recent private jet controversy.

The Duke of Sussex explained that he flies commercial 99% of the time and only flies private jet to "keep his family safe".

He said this in response to the fury over his use of four jets in just 11 days over the summer.

British broadcaster, Piers Morgan however gave the prince an ultimatum, demanding he choose whether he and wife Meghan, 38, want to be members of the royal family or A-listers.

He said; 'I've got no problem with royals using private jets, I've done all of that myself. My problem comes when they're trying to be the high priest and priestess of environmental preaching. You can't do both.'

Piers Morgan also noted that Prince Harry looked 'defiant' when responding to accusations of hypocrisy over the private jet storm at a conference in Amsterdam saying: 'Harry if you're watching, don't do that. You're either going to be a senior royal or you're going to be a private jet-guzzling celebrity.'

The Sussexes have been highly criticised for their use of private jets after saying they only plan to have two children in a bid to minimise their carbon footprint.
