Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been slapped with yet another judgement debt by the Player Status Committee.

The club have been ordered by the committee to pay an amount of GHC40,000 to former defender Daniel Darkwah within 14 days.

Darkwah joined the Porcupine warriors on a free transfer after failing to renew his contract with Aduana Stars after wining the league title with the Dormaa based club.

His contract  with Aduana Stars expired at the end of the 2016/2017 season before he joined Asante Kotoko but later departed the club on a free transfer before joining Enyimba Stars in Nigeria.

At the time Asante Kotoko beat off competition from South African top-flight side Maritzburg United who were also keen on his services.

He is not the first player to drag Kotoko before the committee as the likes of Kwame Bonsu and several other former players have dragged the club before the committee for monies owed them.
