The Ghana Police Service has given assurance it will provide extra security in the 94 constituencies identified as flashpoints on Election Day.

The Service has started distributing booklets and fliers containing information on all officers who will be on duty on Election Day to its officers as well as the citizenry ahead of the December polls.

The fliers are also to educate the public on do's and don’ts before, during and after the elections.

Head of the Police Election Taskforce Chief Supt. Benjamin Agordzor tells Joy News adequate measures have been put in place to ensure no violence occurs in the identified areas.
