A police officer is nursing injuries at the hospital after jumping out of his bedroom window mid-slumber.

It is alleged Harrison Karagu, who is attached to Nanyuki police post, jumped out of the window at 10pm Monday following a bad dream.

Karagu plunged 3 meters from the window stool. Police say the window had no grills.

He sustained cut injuries to his arms and legs.

The cop’s neighbours took him to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital after the incident.

The matter was reported to Nanyuki Police Station in Laikipia East Sub-County under the OB No. 3/5/11/19.
