A policeman met his death today when a stolen car he was chasing crushed him into a wall and killing him immediately.

Reports have it that the officer,whose name is not known jumped into the bonnet of the car hinder the driver from running but the ford explorer crushed into a wall while escaping.

The policeman according to eyewitnesses fell off the four wheel drive while the wall dropped on him causing his demise at the airport.

The driver of the vehicle sped off after the incident but was apprehended by the security men in the area at the time.

He is now in the custody of the police aiding in investigations.

The remains of the policeman was later seen and has been sent to the 37 Military hospital morgue.
