The President of the Republic H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today address the United Nations General Assembly in New York during its 74th meeting.

Key issues among other things the President will speak on includes strides made in the areas of health,education,economy and human rights.

The President who also doubles as the co-chair of the United Nations group of Eminent Leaders on the UN Sustainable Development Goals will also address the meeting progress of work so far done in realizing the various SDG's.

During the President's working visit to the United State he has already delivered a public address at the Princeton University at the invitation of the President of the university.

This address will be the President's third time of addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations since assuming office.

Nana Akufo-Addo as part of his visit will also participate in the US Corporate Council on Africa's (CCA) event celebrating the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
