President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Aaron Kanor as Acting Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), with immediate effect.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Ghana Revenue Authority on Monday, February 23, 2026.

According to the statement, “His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana has appointed Mr Aaron Kanor as Acting Commissioner, Customs Division with immediate effect.”

The Authority noted that Mr Kanor’s appointment reflects a professional career marked by integrity, operational competence, and strategic leadership. It added that his extensive experience is expected to enhance Customs administration, boost compliance efforts, and contribute to Ghana’s economic growth.
