New winter signing Prince Osei Owusu (25) is becoming increasingly important for Erzgebirge Aue.

The striker scored his second goal in the second division for FCE in the seventh game. It was the winning goal in the 1-0 win over Regensburg.

Head coach and sporting director Pavel Dotchev (56) says: "I'm very happy for him. When we signed him, they said he's never scored, he's never really convinced."

In fact, the attacker brought the experience of 28 games in the 2nd division for Paderbornwhere he did not score a single goal for the club.

Aue got Owusu anyway. The striker recently confirmed expectations.

Aue also needs imagination for the miracle in the fight for relegation. Owusu can help make this a reality.

Dotchev knows: “He now has a real chance with us. He hadn't had it like this before. With Fabian Klos at Arminia Bielefeld, with Sascha Mölders at TSV 1860 Munich and with Sven Michel at SC in Paderborn, he always had strikers in front of him.”

He joined Erzgebirge Aue on a free transfer in January from SC Paderborn.
