Basake Holy Stars secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Accra Lions at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (C.A.M) Park on Sunday, with Prince Tweneboah's late heroics sealing the win.

The match saw an early setback for Holy Stars when goalkeeper Dubi Kassi Tayi inadvertently scored an own goal in the 33rd minute, putting Accra Lions in the lead.

However, Tweneboah responded in sensational fashion, scoring twice — first in the 63rd minute to equalize, and again in added time (91st minute) to complete the dramatic turnaround.

With this victory, Basake Holy Stars climbed to 10th place on the league table with 12 points, while Accra Lions remain in the relegation zone.
