He is famed for his penchant of helping teams qualify to the Ghana Premier League and after finishing a job recently for Bibiani Gold Stars coach Kobina Amissah left his role.

As if he is averse in coaching in the Premier League, the promotion expert has now been appointed as the new coach of Samartex in the Division One.

This has exponentially increased their chances of securing promotion from Zone II into the Ghana Premier League next season with the mere appointment of coach Kobina Amissah who seem to have the Midas touch.

Coach Kobina Amissah has signed a two year deal with the Samreboi side and will be the coach for next season.

He replaces Bimark Kobby Mensah who took up the vacant Karela United job on Tuesday.

Samartex finished third in Zone II of the Division One League.

Kobina Amissah who is an expert in qualifying teams from the lower tier side to the Premier League helped the Bibiani based side achieve the holy grail barely a month ago and by mutual consent decided to end his stay with the club.

He won the Zone II at a canter as his side Gold Stars lost just two games to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League.

Kobina Amissah has secured qualification with Elmina Sharks, Berekum Chelsea, Sekondi Hasaacas among others.
