The grand finale the Cussons Baby Moments (CBM) has been  held at the Alisa Hotel, Ridge with Baby Andre Osei Boateng winning  the Cussons Baby of the year 2019, taking home a cash prize of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 10,000).

He also took a plaque, 6 months’ cover of PZ Cussons products as well as a Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 10,000) worth donation to a charity or a Children’s
ward of their choice.

Cussons Baby Moments (CBM) is a baby photo contest first launched in 2018 with the aim of
encouraging family bonding through capturing and sharing magic memories. Cussons Baby
Moments deepens brand affinity with families and further develops brand trial and advocacy.

Season 2, which was climaxed on 3rd November 2019, saw entries double from the previous
season with over 1000 baby entries. 10 finalists were who were selected through a series of
voting and judging, were given a free professional photoshoot with a traditional theme to
showcase our Ghanaian culture.

Speaking at the event, Honorable Cynthia Morrison, Minister for Gender, Children and Social
Welfare, admonished PZ Cussons Ghana Ltd and the Cussons Baby Brand for such a novel
initiative. She said her ministry was particularly keen on parental involvement in raising not
only the girl child but the male child as well. She praised fathers who participated in the event
especially those who came twining with their babies for the grand finale.

Babies Nana Akua Sikapa Adu-Gyamfi and Svetlana Esmee Selinam Akomatsri were the 1
st and 2nd Runner Ups respectively. Among other prizes, Nana Akua took home a cash prize of GHC 4,000.00 while Svetlana took with her cash price of GHC 2,000.00.

Top 10 grand finalists included Oprah Woedem Nachii, Gracella Suglo, Felix Nana Osei Jr., Khalid
Winimi Bugri , Julian Elike Kumapley, Jaime Halifax Baffoe-Bonnie Jnr and Naa Soloh Tawiah
Ewusie-Mensah.

The event was fun-filled and graced by Nakeeyat and Nene from TV3’s Talented Kids Show.
