In a thrilling encounter in the German Regionalliga West, FC Bocholt emerged victorious with a resounding 4-1 win over Velbert, highlighted by a remarkable goal from German-Ghanaian midfielder Raphael Assibey-Mensah.

The match kicked off with Velbert seizing the lead in the 11th minute courtesy of Robin Hilger.

Then, Beckert himself joined the scoring spree, netting a goal in the 64th minute to propel FC Bocholt into a 2-1 lead. The momentum continued in their favor as Bogdan Shubin extended the advantage to 3-1 just five minutes later.

However, the moment of brilliance came from Assibey-Mensah in the 76th minute when he unleashed a spectacular strike, further solidifying FC Bocholt's dominance and sealing their impressive 4-1 victory.

With this win, FC Bocholt reaffirmed their strong position in the league, and Assibey-Mensah's contribution added another highlight to his impressive season tally, boasting seven goals and seven assists in 23 games.
