Former member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency Ras Mubarak has satirically blamed president Nana Akufo Addo for Asante Kotoko's defeat to rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Porcupines were stunned by a 66th minutes strike by Daniel Afryie Barnieh, which put them three points behind the Phobians.

Mubarak, who is staunch fan of the Asante club took to his Facebook wall to blame it on the president even though he could not tell the exact reason, the septogenarian should be blamed.

"I'll be out of coverage area," he said . "But it's just one goal.

"I blame Nana Addo for this defeat"

The President and Ras Mubarak are political opponents but have both declared their support to Asante Kotoko.

It is not yet knows for how long Ras has been a fan of Kotoko unlike Nana Akufo Addo who, in 2019 confirm his support for the porcupines.

Their team was beaten on Sunday in a Matchday 31 encounter.

Hearts of, the victors, have taken a three  point on the league now have a bigger chance to win it.
