Augsburg and Lens have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of Austrian International with Ghanaian parents Kevin Danso.

Last month, Danso told Augsburg he would no longer train or play for them to try to force through a move to RC Lens, and it now seems he will have his wish fulfilled.

According to Sky Germany, 'Die Fuggerstädter' have now agreed a deal to sell the defender to Lens.

Per the report, Lens will put the 22-year-old centre-back through a medical today after the clubs agreed on a transfer fee of €7 million including bonuses.

Danso has featured a total of 44 times for Augsburg with three goals and two assists to his name. He spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf.

During his loan spell last term at Fortuna Dusseldorf, Danso featured in 32 league games, scoring twice and assisting twice in the 2020-21 campaign.

His running contract with FC Augsburg was due to run out in June 30, 2024.

He chose to play for the land of his birth Austria instead of Ghana the country of his parents and has been capped once.
