Spanish club Real Oviedo has announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo on a contract that extends until June 2026.

The 26-year-old joins from SD Amorebieta, where he played a significant role in their promotion to the Spanish Segunda Division in the 2022-23 season.

Sibo's career has seen him make 39 appearances for Amorebieta in the Spanish second-tier, scoring once during the 2023-24 campaign.

His football journey includes stints at FC Urartu in Armenia, Watford FC in England, KF Skënderbeu in Albania, UD Ibiza in Spain, and Real Betis Balompié's subsidiary team.

Despite an unsuccessful medical examination at the Asturias Clinic, Sibo is expected to integrate with Real Oviedo's pre-season training and will be officially presented to the media shortly.

His experience and skills on the field make him a valuable addition to Real Oviedo's squad, and he is anticipated to play a key role in the upcoming season.
